This lovely photo was taken near Baddeck, N.S. while on the way to North Sydney. This is the Bras D'or, Canada's largest inland sea. It is a huge body of salt water that makes up a big part of the centre of Cape Breton.We haven't seen too many light houses yet, so this one with the huge sail boat behind it was just too perfect!
We are starting to notice a big difference in accents out here. When people start talking quickly it gets a little difficult to understand everything they say.
We had dinner at Lick-A-Chick, sort of reminded us of Chicken on the Way (without the fritters!) Dessert was across the street at Lick-A-Treat (of course) We had strawberry soft ice cream - that was a first! We don't eat out very often, but this little place was just too interesting to pass up!
Your pics are amazing Jo and I think this blog is set up so nicely. Very intersting to read. Not sure about reading about Lick a Chick - that is a pretty gross name all round!
