These two kingdoms of Disneyworld had some of my favourite things:animals and fireworks!
The safari in the animal kingdom is very cool! You are driven around in a big, open jeep, through various "African" environments. They have a large collection of animals that can be seen around the vehicle, or just in front, making us wait, as this ostrich was. It made me even more determined to get to Africa for a real safari!
The Disney castle was spectacular, dressed in holiday lights that look like icicles over top of the regular lights. The photos do not really do it justice!
We have done lots of rides as well, but this week it was so much busier because of the American Thanksgiving. Luckily we were able to get in early and stay late at some parks because we were staying at the Disney campground. They have special times just for people who are staying at the resorts, when the general public can't get in. This allowed us to skip some lines, and get some fast passes. We were not about to wait in hour long line ups!!
I love Animal Kingdom...it is so cool. Wish I could do all the rides with you, especially the coasters!!
