There was a water park right beside our campground, so on the last day, as David packed up the camper, I took the kids for some fun! There were a few slides that Sean was able to do with his bum knee, and we went on the lazy river and in the wave pool. It was sad to see though, while in the wave pool, how many people could not swim. When the waves were moving, our kids were basically the only ones in the deep area who were not sitting in an inner tube. Of the few kids who tried to swim and float in the waves, I had to help a couple back to the shallow section, and the lifeguards actually had to jump in and help a few others. There were a number of camp/daycare groups at the park and having so many small kids with few supervisors must just be a nightmare for the lifeguards. Once the line-ups got too long, we went to play mini-golf. Cale & Taylor were pretty impressed with this park, so they will be blown away when we finally get them to Silverwoods!!
