Seafair boats

Seafair takes place on Lake Washington, and tons of people bring their luxury boats and camp out on the lake to watch the events.  There were races featuring the world's fastest race boats, the H1, Unlimited Hydroplane.  These are some seriously powerful boats.  They race around a track through markers on the water.

They travel so fast that they kick up a huge rooster tail as they go around the race course.  Sort of reminds me up the fountains at the Bellagio!

There were also Formula One Racers, smaller, and not quite as powerful, but still really cool to watch

When they go around the corners it seems as though there really isn't much of the boat actually touching the water.
